+ What happens if I book my ticket but can’t make it?

Whilst we can’t offer refunds due to the nature of the event, we can transfer your ticket to a future event, once, if you can’t attend. Please contact us a minimum of 7 days before your scheduled event to make the change – any changes made after the cut off cannot be amended or transferred.

If we have a waiting list are more than happy to pass the ticket on so please email us even if you are past the cut off time.

+ Is the venue fully accessible?

There is a small step up from the pavement to the pub area, and the seating area is on one level. The toilet however is not suitable for wheelchair users and there is a step down to the toilet.

+ What’s included in my ticket? What can I expect from the event?

The event runs from 7-9pm and we encourage you to get there at 7pm. Maddy and Pip will be there to welcome you and give you name sticker to add your name and pronouns. Help yourself to your first drink from the bar (alcohol free options are available) as it’s included in your ticket. You can sit where you like at any one of the tables and we will hand out conversation starters to find solutions to common challenges, and get to know other small biz owners so you don’t have to do any of the usual often painstaking small talk. We won’t have any formal presentations, and we will actively join in the chats. 

+ Will we have the opportunity to pitch our businesses?

Whilst other networking events invite everyone stand up and do a one minute presentation, this won’t be a thing we do. We will provide conversation starters to each table, and encourage you to mix as you wish. Please do let us know if you have additional needs when it comes to mixing. We will do our best to accommodate.

+ Is food available?

There are crisps and snacks available behind the bar and Yard Sale pizza delivers. 

+ Is the event recorded in any way?

We will be taking photos and recording for social media. If you do not wish to be involved, please do let Maddy or Pip know. 

+ Is parking available?

There is very limited parking in the surrounding rounds so the easiest way to get there is to get public transport: 249, 358, 157, 432 buses or Crystal Palace or Anerley train stations. 

+ Will you be there the whole time?

Yes! Maddy and Pip will be there to greet you, give you a name sticker for your name and pronouns and have a chat. We will join in the mixing, as we want to socialise too!

+ Are there alcohol free options available?

Yes, there are non alcoholic beer and soft drinks available. Your first drink is included in your ticket. The rest is up to you to purchase.
